Cookie Policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how you use it. Some are essential for the site to function; others help us improve the experience.
We also use local storage, which works similarly but keeps data in your browser rather than sending it with every request. This policy covers both.
What we use
| Name | Stored as | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Cookie | Essential | Authentication session managed by Supabase | Session |
| sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | Cookie | Essential | PKCE verification for secure authentication | Session |
| cookie-consent | Local storage | Essential | Remembers whether you accepted or declined the cookie banner | Until cleared |
| sqwyz_visitor_id | Local storage | Analytics | Randomly generated ID that lets us count returning visits without identifying you | Until cleared |
| __stripe_mid | Cookie | Functional | Stripe fraud prevention during payment | 1 year |
| __stripe_sid | Cookie | Functional | Stripe session identifier during payment | 30 min |
Essential
These are required for the site to function. They handle authentication, security, and remembering your cookie choice. You cannot opt out of them while using the service, as they are necessary to maintain your logged-in session.
Analytics
We record which pages are viewed, the referring site, and your browser user-agent, tied to a randomly generated visitor ID rather than to you. We use this to understand which frameworks and Boardroom seats people actually look for. We also use Vercel Analytics, which reports aggregate traffic and performance.
Functional
Stripe sets its own cookies when you go through checkout, to detect fraud and keep your payment session intact. These are set by Stripe, not by us.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and clear local storage the same way. Most browsers allow you to block or delete both. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if we add new services or change how we use cookies. The “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the current version.
